Cape Cod Bay Fishing Report - Mid June 2015

Contributed by: Cape Cod Sportfishing on the Janine B

Good weather the last few days have opened up Cape Cod Bay, with water temperature climbing into the mid-fifties. Mackerel are still hanging around ans plenty of striped bass.

The report:

STRIPED BASS - Great live-lining with mackerel out at the 50 ft mark north of Billingsgate Shoal. Days alternate betwwn 36 inch+ fish to only

throwbacks.  Rigging also works, and there are more vertical jiggers showing up.  Barnstable Harbor has some nice fish being live-lined, and moderate fish are still available to casting and horizontal jigging on Billingsgate Shoals.  Some bass around the backside of Provincetown.

Bluefish - Nope  ot yet.

Tuna - Still only wishin.  Stellwagon Bank and the backside has been very quiet.
